Der Neubau mit dem Flachdach, der Goldring mit dem Diamanten, die Mannequins mit der neuen Modekollektion – wenn es ums perfekte Bild geht, sieht Jan Hellman genau hin. Der ausgebildete Architektur- und Werbefotograf findet den richtigen Winkel, spielt mit dem Licht, arrangiert die Umgebung. Mit seiner Fotografie bringt er Form, Licht und Material in Einklang und verleiht den Sujets Glanz – egal ob mit Beleuchtung in seinem Studio in der Stadt Bern oder bei Wind und Wetter in Genf oder im Tessin. Privat experimentiert Jan mit alten Techniken und neuen Ideen und lässt mit dem Fotoapparat Abstraktes entstehen, immer auf der Suche nach Inspiration und „der anderen Seite der Fotografie“. Wenn Jan die Kamera ausnahmsweise beiseite legt, pflegt er im Keller seinen hausgemachten Käse. Oder füttert die Schildkröten im Garten. Autofokus sozusagen.

DIE WELT MIT MEINEN AUGEN SEHEN und Bild-Geschichten erzählen

Kerstin Zimmermann fotografiert alles, was nicht inszeniert ist, im täglichen Umfeld oder auch auf Reisen. Besonders Norwegen und die Ostseeregion, vor allem aber Menschen in allen Lebenslagen haben es ihr angetan. Streetfotografie betreibt sie sehr gerne, aber nie unter Zeitdruck. Das Einfühlen in die Szenen hat für die Fotografin immer höchste Priorität. Als Konzertfotografin begleitet sie regelmäßig eine mit ihr befreundete Band. Berufsbedingt sind es oft zeitgeschichtliche Themen z.B. um Auschwitz, Buchenwald, Dachau, Stutthof, die die Historikerin seit vielen Jahren in ihrem fotografischen Schaffen beeinflusst haben und immer wieder sehr stille Bilder entstehen lassen. Die jüngste Leidenschaft der Fotografin ist die iPhone-Fotografie mit der App Hipstamatic.

Je unbequemer die Pose des Fotografen, desto besser das Bild

Ich habe schon immer sehr gerne fotografiert, aber eigentlich sollte ich eher geknipst sagen. Aufgrund meiner langwierigen Knieverletzung habe ich wieder verstärkt damit angefangen und wollte endlich verstehen, was die Kamera macht. Also habe ich Kurse besucht und die Qualität der Fotos wurde innerhalb kürzester Zeit immer besser. Heute fotografiere ich in der Regel im manuellen Modus, wo ich Alles beeinflussen kann. Dann habe ich experimentiert und habe meine Bereiche entdeckt: - inszenierte Sportfotografie (nur als Auftragsfotografie) - Natur- und Tierfotografie, unter anderem Makros - Portraits und Availabe Lights, was für mich die Grundlagen der Fotografie sind.

Ich stehe mit viel Leidenschaft, Engagement und einem Auge fürs Detail hinter der Kamera, um immer das Optimum zu liefern. Dieses breite Fachwissen möchte ich in Form von Workshops und Kursen weitergeben. Für Reisefreudige biete ich entsprechende Fotoreisen mit auserwählten Hotspots und Top-Locations an. Es macht mir eine Freude anderen Fotografen zu helfen, egal ob Anfänger, Fortgeschrittener oder Profi. Gemeinsames Fachsimpeln und Austauschen von Kniffs und Wissen trägt dazu bei, dass all unsere Bilder immer wie besser werden.

Photography is a research for the essential

Poliedric designer and passionate passionate photographer. In 2016 he worked as design assistant for the milanese architecture radical office “Parasite 2.0”, realizing some interesting temporary project for Ortigia Sound System and Arduino. In 2017 he graduated in “Scienze dell’Architettura” at Politecnico di Milano, with the thesys “Abitare sull’acqua: Floating houses ad Amsterdam”, where he tried to point out all the possibilities related to floating architecture in Anthropocene era. Then he move to Amsterdam, where he lived for an year, working and experiencing some interesting project, like the exhibition “Publieke Werken in de Amsterdamse School”, visible at Het Schip Museum from 15 February to 1 September 2018, where he was in charge like Architect and Graphic designer, published on one of the most important dutch magazines, Het Parool. This experience helps him to understand how to rule alone in a professional way a project of those dimensions. Currently he is living in Lisbon where he is working and studying. Photography is one passion, is a research for the essential. Particularly love for black and white and high contrast photos, where the composition and the shadow of a photo come out in the best way possible.

I'm a documentary and social photographer born and based in Palermo, Italy. I studied liberal art (anthropology, sociology) at the University of Palermo and I chose the photography as means of expressing. I learned from the great European and American photographers (William Klein, Henri Cartier- Bresson, Robert Doisneau, Robert Capa) trying to develop a personal photographic language. My work as like nerve centre the contradictions, the existential paradoxes, the cultural crossroads of Sicily and the immigration flow. For these reasons I travel on the roads of his homeland and of the Mediterranean countries telling stories. My work has been featured on Il Venerdì di Repubblica, La Repubblica, Il Manifesto, The Globe and Mail, Time Magazine, Erodoto108, VICE and The Guardian. I'm also a videomaker and a writer. In 2013 I started a long-term photographic project on the lives of children in the suburbs, Malacarne, and in 2016 this reportage became a photobook "MALACARNE-Kids come first" edited by Benedetta Donato and published by Crowdbooks Publishing.

Shooting to reveal beauty.

I'm kind of a Jack-of-all-trade regarding photography. I started out 15 years ago as a landscape photographer, a street photographer, architectural photographer, then did portrait later on. Now since 5+ years, I work full time as a photographer, mostly portrait (commercial, beauty shot, family, babies, pregnancy and boudoir to name a few), and I do a lot of real estate photography too. I also had a few painting reproduction photography contract, due to my twenty years experience in the printing industry.

Jeder Fleck Natur ist je nach Wetter und Jahreszeit wieder komplett anders und dieser Reiz macht es aus, immer wieder an die schönsten Orte zu reisen – und Du kannst auch Teil von so einer Reise sein.
